Mission & Purpose

As defined in the governing bylaws of Manuscript Research Institute

Purpose

To preserve and promote the authentic Hebraic foundations of Scripture through the discovery, verification, and dissemination of original manuscripts and related resources.

Mission

To publish manuscripts rooted in the Hebrew language and tradition once located, validated, secured, transcribed, and translated.  To develop research-based educational resources for public and scholarly use that restore clarity to the ancient texts.

Vision

To see the authentic Hebraic foundations of Scripture restored and recognized globally, enabling individuals and scholars to reconnect with the original context, language, and meaning of ancient texts.  To illuminate the original Hebraic context of Scripture and foster a deeper understanding of covenantal instructions.

Our Values

MRI is a volunteer-based research initiative focused on providing transparent digital access to historical biblical manuscripts.

Our work centers on studying these texts in their original languages and cultural contexts, with particular attention to how the words attributed to Yehovah were recorded, preserved, and transmitted.

Honesty and Transparency

Open methods, traceable sources, and ethical research practices.

Evidence Over Doctrine

Manuscripts first. Analysis rooted in language, history, and data.

Respect Across Differences

Scholarly dialogue grounded in mutual respect and intellectual humility.

Position Statement

MRI is a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to producing quality transcriptions for general, institutional and scholarly uses, at no cost.  The below, a Reader’s (general-use) transcription, is a downloadable PDF copy of our work.

At this stage of our work, we offer a simple transcription, though we are developing an Interlinear and simple translation for future release.  MRI does not offer or further any theological perspectives or doctrines.

Coming soon, and based on interest, we will offer Diplomatic (exact replica) and Normalized (scholarly rewrite) transcriptions.  If you are interested, contact info@manuscriptresearch.org.
